Introducing Corvida Racing - Fuelled by Allpress, Shoreditch based Corvida celebrated their official launch recently at the Roastery. The team have tasted success already this season and dont intend to stop there or slow down even for a second. "We've made it our mission this year to blow up the women's road racing scene, riding as a team to make every race more competitive, more fun, and ultimately more rewarding for everyone."

• Air Roasting Technologies - Our first ever ART roaster has now commenced production in Dunedin New Zealand. Air Roasting Technologies (ART) is the result of our ongoing drive for exceptional flavour in the cup. This drive prompted Michael Allpress to work closely with our long term technical engineer Mike Scobie and draw up customised plans for a fluidised hot air coffee roaster where consistency and control over roasting parameters can be controlled with absolute precision.  
• La Marzoccos Strada - We recently introduced the new Strada EP onto the cafe counter and have been putting it through its paces with outstanding results in the cup. This state of the art espresso machine is the first to feature pressure profiling, allowing our baristas to directly control pressure at any point during the extraction opening up a world of possibilities.
• Trips to Origin - Craig our head roaster and Dean our GM for Australia spent a week recently establishing relationships with growers and exporters of select high quality coffee beans. They visited numerous farms, tasting and cupping beans, one of which we currently purchase from. We look forward to receiving some of the new Guatemalan coffees to roast later in the year.

• Recycling Coffee Sacks - Visit Allpress roastery cafe, 58 Redchurch st, to choose a burlap coffee sack in exchange for a gold coin with all proceeds going to the local Virginia School on Arnold circus. We have been told that these funds will be put to great use in the schools sustainability and gardening projects.
